The American Dragon Beats El Divino Lagunero.
On the 4/5 edition of CMLL Viernes Espectacular, Bryan Danielson faced Blue Panther in a Submission to headline the event, with this being a dream match and the first CMLL vs AEW Singles Bout in Mexico.
After an intense technical bout, Danielson managed to defeat the legendary Luchador with the LeBelle Lock within 25 minutes.
After the match, Blue Panther issued a challenge to Danielson for a future match in the United States, which Danielson accepted. Danielson then said that Blue Panther was his idol and thanked him for the match. Panther carried Danielson around the ring in the Electric Chair position to celebrate the bout.
