Bryan Keith takes the top spot.
Bryan Keith was named number one in the 2023 Black Wrestling 500, which lists and celebrates the top 500 black wrestlers in the world.
Keith is one of the top names on the independent scene and is the reigning DPW National Champion, PCW ULTRA Light Heavyweight Champion, Timebomb Champion, and Freelance Legacy Champion. He faced Hangman Page on the September 1 episode of AEW Rampage.
He finished 15th in the 2022 BW500.
Athena came in at number two, while Swerve Strickland finished third. Willow Nightingale and Ricky Starks rounded out the top five.

Bianca Belair was #1 in 2022. Trish Adora topped the list in 2021. Sasha Banks was #1 in 2020. Reg started the list in 2019 as the BW 250 and expanded to 500 in 2020. Kofi Kingston was #1 in 2019. The BW 250 was used to change and influence Pro Wrestling Illustrated's annual PWI 500.
