Rhea Ripley ruined the 20th anniversary celebration of Rey Mysterio on WWE Raw when she showed up backstage while the Mysterio family was celebrating.
Ripley baited Rey into going after her, leading to him being jumped by The Judgment Day.
During the segment, Ripley stood face to face with Aalyah Mysterio before pie facing her.
Aalyah was involved in a storyline where Buddy Matthews (Buddy Murphy in WWE) ended up becoming her boyfriend while the Mysterio family was feuding with Seth Rollins in 2020. The storyline was dropped shortly after Matthews and Aalyah began dating on-screen.
Ripley is currently dating Matthews in real life.
Taking to social media, Matthews reacted to the segment.

Matthews' tweet references the famous feud between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero where they competed in a ladder match for the custody of Dominik Mysterio at WWE SummerSlam 2005. Ripley was wearing an "I'm Your Papi" shirt, which Eddie wore during the feud, on WWE Raw.
