Buddy Matthews posts an update.
At AEW Grand Slam: Australia, Buddy Matthews challenged Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship. During his entrance, Matthews seemingly hurt his ankle, but he still competed in the match. Okada emerged victorious, and Matthews has been absent ever since. In a now-deleted tweet, Matthews joked that he would not have hurt his ankle if it wasn't for AEW's small ring at the show. He was later seen on one crutch in a post on social media.
In a new post on his Instagram, Buddy Matthews shared a picture in which he could be seen wearing a walking boot. He joked that he was "like 1/2 Iron Man."
