The finals of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational have been set.
Several competitors have been battling it out in the NXT Global Heritage Invitational tournament on NXT and NXT Level Up in recent weeks. The competition reached the semi-final round on the September 19 episode of WWE NXT.
First, Butch and Tyler Bate renewed their rivalry as they clashed in a Group A match. The two foes threw everything they had at each other, and Butch ultimately scored the victory to win Group A.
Later in the show, Duke Hudson busted the bracket by defeating Joe Coffey in a Group B match. In doing so, he created a three-way tie for the Group B lead. Later in the show, Hudson faced Nathan Frazer and Coffey in a tiebreaker match.
All three stars nearly scored the win at different points. Hudson delivered a particularly impressive performance, and he nearly emerged victorious. In the end, Frazer hit Hudson with the Phoenix Splash. Coffey took Frazer out and pinned Hudson with a lariat to win the match. As a result, he won Group B.
