Butch has asked an old friend and rival to be his second at NXT No Mercy in his NXT Heritage Cup Championship match.
Butch was the winner of the NXT Global Heritage Invitational and, as a result, has earned the right to face Noam Dar for the NXT Heritage Cup Championship at the NXT No Mercy on Saturday, September 30, in Bakersfield, California.
As per the rules of the Heritage Cup matches, each competitor needs a second. Butch has taken to social media to ask Tyler Bate, a former tag team partner and rival and a former NXT Heritage Cup Champion, to be in his corner as a mini-reunion of British Strong Style for one night only.
I need a second at No Mercy Saturday. @noamdar is gonna have all of meta-four out there so I’ve asked an old mate to watch my back. Someone who knows Noam and Heritage Cup rules pretty well.
