Byron Saxton returned to NXT and took over for Booker T who is continuing to convalesce.
Booker T previously said that he would be forced to miss NXT Vengeance Day and many weeks of NXT TV due to a medical procedure. Wade Barrett stepped in for him at NXT Vengeance Day. Barrett then returned to his duties on WWE SmackDown.
As first reported by Corey Brennan on Fightful Select, Byron Saxton returned to NXT to call the action alongside Vic Joseph on February 6.
During the show, Saxton spoke about how the brand meant a lot to him. Saxton got his start as a wrestler on the reality show version of NXT before transitioning into being an announcer on all three brands throughout the course of his time with the promotion.
