Former UFC champion, Cain Velasquez, is back training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
As first reported by WrestlingInc., Cain Velasquez is in recovery after getting his knee scoped and is said to be feeling completely healthy. Fightful has been able to confirm these reports.
Velazquez, who has not been seen on WWE television since losing to Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia back on Halloween day in 2019, will reportedly be training at the Performance Center for the next two weeks, getting more wrestling reps under his belt as he prepares for his next bout.
Velasquez signed a three-year contract with WWE in 2019, with Triple H going on record on an episode of WWE After The Bell saying that Velasquez is very heavily involved in the developmental side of his professional wrestling career.
Cain Velasquez would have one other match in WWE, competing in Mexico City for a WWE Supershow live event.
Recently, WWE has confirmed that another former UFC Champion, Tito Ortiz, has also recently visited the WWE Performance Center. Learn more about that at this link.
