Carmella will no longer compete in the women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
On Friday's WWE SmackDown, WWE official Sonya Deville announced that Carmella would challenge Bianca Belair for the SmackDown Women's Championship on the July 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. The SmackDown Women's Title bout was moved, with Carmella being named as the replacement, due to Bayley suffering an injury while training.
Bayley was originally scheduled to challenge Belair for the title at WWE Money in the Bank.
As a result of Carmella being removed from the match, Deville announced that Liv Morgan would be Carmella's replacement. Morgan has picked up three straight victories, two against Carmella and one against Zelina Vega, on WWE SmackDown.
