Mella was money at WrestleMania 35.
Carmella outsmarted the field in the WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal, sneaking back in in the closing moments to eliminate Sarah Logan. Logan thought she had won after eliminating former SmackDown Women's Champion Asuka, but Carmella revealed herself as not having been eliminated. Logan fought valiantly on the apron after being tossed over the top to remain in the match, but a superkick by Carmella sent The Viking to the floor.

Of note in the Women's Battle Royal, Ember Moon made her return to in-ring competition. Moon revealed in late January that she needed elbow surgery and would be sidelined for the foreseeable future. No timetable was given for her return. Also, NXT stars Kairi Sane and Candice LeRae were part of the battle royal.
