Carmelo Hayes has challenged Bron Breakker to an NXT Championship match at NXT Battleground 2023. Breakker responded by putting Carmelo through the NXT Spring Breakin' stage .
Shortly after Carmelo Hayes defeated Grace and Waller in the NXT Championship match at NXT Spring Breakin', Carmelo got on the microphone and challenged the former champion, Bron Breakker, to an NXT Championship match on Sunday, May 28, at NXT Battleground from Lowell, Massachusetts.
While the former Champion did not issue a verbal response he would immediately come out and attack Melo and Trick Williams, ending his attack by putting Melo through a portion of the set, forcing the champion to be stretchered out of the arena and sent to a local medical facility.
