Carmelo Hayes: I'm Satisfied With My NXT Run, I'm Ready For That Next Step Whenever They Let Me Go

Carmelo Hayes is ready for the next step when the opportunity comes.

Carmelo Hayes has been one of the faces of NXT since the 2.0 rebrand in September 2021. He has held the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship. Hayes also competed on the June 26 episode of WWE Raw, where he faced Finn Balor.

Speaking with PWInsider, Carmelo Hayes stated that he is satisfied with what he has done in NXT, and he has accomplished everything he there is to accomplish there.

“I feel very satisfied with everything I've done in NXT. I feel like I've helped build the brand back up. I feel like I've been a cornerstone to the success of NXT 2.0. I feel very satisfied. I feel like I've accomplished everything there is to accomplish there. You know my relationships that I've built there, everything that I'm willing to give back if I need to get back in. The next step for me is whenever they're ready to let me go, I'm ready to take that next step," he said.
