Carmelo Hayes is confident in his future.
Hayes has been one of the breakout stars in NXT 2.0 as a former NXT North American Champion and the man who unified the NXT North American Title with the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. While Hayes is still part of the NXT brand, he has his sights set on a big WrestleMania match at some point in the future.
"There's a lot of guys," Hayes said on the Black Announce Table when asked who on the main roster he would like to face. "I'm on Twitter, I'm vocal as hell. I say exactly what I'm thinking. I've been saying Seth. He has to be the one. Me and Seth, I'm going to work that dude at WrestleMania. I really am. Me and Seth, that's going to happen at WrestleMania. I feel it in my soul. Then there are guys like Kofi (Kingston), I want to get in there with Xavier (Woods), Roman (Reigns). I always go straight to the top. You should want to be in there with that guy, he's the guy. It's down the road type of thing. There are a lot of guys, I think they need me."
Hayes is set to challenge Cameron Grimes for the NXT North American Championship at NXT In Your House on Saturday.
Seth Rollins has a busy weekend himself as he'll face Cody Rhodes inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Hell in a Cell.
