Cash Wheeler Criminal Case Dropped, Will Not Face Charge Of Aggravated Assault With A Firearm

Cash Wheeler will not face criminal charges.

PWInsider is reporting that the criminal case against Daniel Wheeler (Cash Wheeler) has been dropped. The outlet states that the prosecutor's office filed 'Nolle Prosequi', meaning that they have decided to drop the case and not pursue charges against Wheeler. It is currently unknown why this decision was made.

Wheeler's trial was set to start on May 20. He was facing one charge of aggravated assault with a firearm stemming from an incident in July 2023 where he allegedly pointed a firearm at another person during a traffic incident.

Wheeler has remained active in AEW throughout this process, competing with Dax Harwood against teams like The Elite, House Of Black, and Big Bill/Ricky Starks.
