Big news regarding the AEW World Title.
On the finale of AEW Road to Double or Nothing, it was announced that the winner of the Casino Battle Royale will meet the winner of Kenny Omega vs. Chris Jericho with the two competitors battling over the vacant AEW World Title. It is unknown when the match to crown the first ever AEW World Champion will take place. The design of the AEW World Title has yet to be revealed as well, though fans can see a glimpse of part of the belt near the end of the Road to Double or Nothing finale.
The Casino Battle Royale is scheduled to be part of the Buy-In pre-show, which starts at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. Meanwhile, Omega vs. Jericho will be the headlining match at Saturday's AEW Double or Nothing
15 of the 21 competitors have been announced for the Casino Battle Royal. They are Sonny Kiss, Brandon Cutler, Ace Romero, Glacier, Brian Pillman Jr., Sunny Daze, MJF, Joey Janela, Dustin Thomas, Jungle Boy, Michael Nakzawa, Private Party, Luchasaurus, Shawn Spears (fka Tye Dillinger in WWE).
