Cathy Kelley: It’s A Bit Of A Detriment That Stephanie McMahon Isn’t Full-Time With WWE

Stephanie McMahon resigned from her position in WWE in January 2023 when it was announced that her father Vince McMahon was returning to the company.

Stephanie was announced as interim chairwoman and CEO in June 2022 after Vince stepped down following allegations of sexual misconduct and hush money. Vince resigned as TKO Executive Chairman in January 2024 after former employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault and sex trafficking.

Stephanie has made sporadic appearances on WWE TV throughout 2024, including opening night two of WrestleMania XL.

"She really is an advocate of so many women," Cathy Kelley said of Stephanie McMahon on B4TheBell. "She is not the advocate, but she is an advocate for so many women and she is so versatile in everything that she has accomplished and has been able to do throughout her career. It’s a little bit of a detriment that we don’t have her there full-time right now, but I love her so much. She is the reason I came back. We had multiple conversations before I came back and she is the one that really encouraged me to come back. It was her being at the helm. Her and Triple H. They really took care of me the first time I was there."

Cathy signed with WWE in February 2016, but left in February 2020. She returned in October 2022.

Elsewhere during the interview, Cathy commented on the possibility of being a manager in WWE. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
