Cedric Alexander picks up a big win.

After getting into a verbal confrontation with Brooks Jensen on July 30, Cedric Alexander defeated Jensen in a match on the first episode of WWE NXT Great American Bash 2024. This is Alexander's first victory on WWE television since 2021. His last singles victory on WWE TV came as he defeated Reggie for the WWE 24/7 Title on the November 22 episode of WWE Raw.

The last time he scored a singles victory outside of WWE 24/7 Championship shenanigans came on the May 31, 2021 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw when he defeated Shelton Benjamin. Back then, WWE hosted shows inside the WWE ThunderDome as part of the COVID pandemic precautions.

In the interim, Alexander has picked up wins on the Hulu-exclusive WWE Main Event. His last win on WWE Main Event still occurred over a year ago. Alexander defeated Dante Chen on the March 16, 2023 episode of the Hulu series.

Cedric returned to WWE NXT alongside Ashante Adonis on the July 9, 2024 episode. Both Cedric and Adonis were drafted to WWE SmackDown in the 2024 WWE Draft.
