Cesar Duran is back.
Cesar Duran returned at MLW SuperFight, confronting Salina de la Renta and introducing Mistico.
Duran made his MLW debut in May 2021 and formed Azteca Underground, leading to MLW Azteca miniseries.

Duran's masked men have been around on recent MLW television episodes, but Duran disappeared in the fall of 2023. Salina de la Renta returned to MLW in September 2023 and initially said she had nothing to do with Duran's disappearance, but it was later confirmed that she was behind things.
Duran and Salina are clashing over the style of lucha libre to bring to MLW and wanting to establish the best group of luchadors in the company.
Duran previously ran the Lucha Underground promotion.
