As most know, Fastlane, the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania took place on Sunday night from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The show was noteworthy for a number of reasons, one of them being Bayley defeating Charlotte to retain her RAW Women's Championship. While a wrestler retaining her title isn't normally a major story, it was this time around as Bayley's victory signified the end of Charlotte's winning streak in singles matches on PPV.
The match's finish saw Sasha Banks run down to stop Charlotte from hitting Bayley with her moonsault in what probably should have lead to a disqualification -- keeping Charlotte's winning streak alive. Instead, Sasha then helped the ref see Charlotte grabbing the tights during her pin attempt which ended up allowing Bayley to hit the Bayley to Belly for the pinfall victory.
After her loss, Charlotte took to Twitter to provide a brief comment on her loss to Bayley.
16-1 is a battle scar.

Despite it being played up throughout the build to the match, Charlotte's streak ending garnered a passing mention from commentary instead of being as big of a deal as what it ultimately should have been. It was a result that came as a surprise annoyance to Fightful Associate Editor Alex Pawlowski during his live coverage of Fastlane on Sunday.
Fans should expect to hear from more Charlotte when RAW goes live from Chicago on Monday night.
