After weeks of unconfirmed reports and denial from some involved, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss have been confirmed for the reboot of Punky Brewster coming to the streaming service Peacock.
The series is set to debut February 25 on the streaming service and is a continuation of the NBC sitcom that ran from 1984 to 1988. Soleil Moon Frye is set to return to the series as Punky.
According to the photos released by Bleacher Report, Flair and Bliss appear in character in the WWE-themed episode.
Reports of these two features in the series surfaced several months back when both women were off television. D-Von Dudley was also involved. In fact, Dudley first broke the news about the former Women's Champions being featured on the show.
WWE and Peacock are entering a long-term partnership that will see WWE Network move its library to the streaming service beginning on March 18th for the next several years.
The first WWE event streaming on the service will be WWE Fastlane on March 21. Learn more at this link.
