Charlotte will be happy for Becky no matter the outcome.
Despite becoming the head honcho of the SmackDown Live women's division being up for grabs tonight, both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch have made it clear to the public and to one another that they will keep the sports-womanship in their friendship alive and no matter who emerges victorious in tonight's Triple-Threat match if Carmella does not retain, the loser in the bout will be happy for the new champion.
The two former SmackDown Live Women's Champions have made the rounds on the interview circuit to promote WWE's"Biggest Party Of The Summer". Tonight at SummerSlam, Charlotte Flair has the opportunity to become an 8-time WWE Women's Champion and while talking SummerSlam with '1010 Wins', "The Queen" discussed her friendship with Becky Lynch and stated that Becky winning the title would do nothing but motivate her but nonetheless she will be happy for her fellow "tea-mate" if Becky were to emerge victorious in tonight's matchup.
“The other side of it, is from day one, I’ve always wanted to be a champion,” she said. “I want to be the best and that has nothing to do with our friendship. We’re on the same brand it just so happens, and we’re going to have to face each other. If she wins, I’ll be ecstatic for her, and it’s going to make me work that much harder.”
