Former WWE Divas, WWE Women's and Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair made her Smackdown Live debut on Tuesday, but she was lucky to be up and going at all.
On Monday's episode of Raw, Flair competed in her final match on the brand against Nia Jax. Jax would go on to blow a couple of spots in the match, including a frightening set of face plants that could have seen Charlotte injured.
While talking to USA Today, Charlotte said the spot didn't bother her.
“It didn’t really affect me … That’s up to the viewer on how they viewed it that it looked nasty,” she said. “It’s going to take a lot more than dropping me on my head to keep me down.”
Charlotte made a highly-celebrated appearance on Smackdown Live this week during WWE's Superstar Shakeup. Fortunately, she says she wasn't any worse for wear.
“No. Knock on wood, I haven’t missed a live event, I haven’t been injured. I know my body and I’m think I’m extremely well-trained. I looked at it as, ‘Hey, bring it. I’ll see you next time, woman.’ …” said Charlotte.
Fightful.com was told that it has been communicated to Nia Jax backstage that she has to take care of her opponents to a higher degree.
