Chase Owens' NJPW contract is coming to an end according to a recent tweet.
Owens stated that Friday, Jan. 31, is the final day on his NJPW contract. He is still scheduled to face Rocky Romero on Saturday in Atlanta, GA as part of the NJPW The New Beginning USA tour. Owens has competed at all stops on the tour.
He's also booked to compete at NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka on Feb. 9. He is scheduled to team with his Bullet Club running mates Yujiro Takahashi, Tanga Loa & Tama Tonga to take on Kota Ibushi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, David Finlay and Juice Robinson. Ibushi is currently dealing with Mallory Weiss Syndrome, but he is still advertised to compete in the bout.
Today is the final day of my njpw contract. Hope to see everyone tomorrow at the Coca Cola Roxy theatre in Atlanta Georgia!!
