Chelsea Green let a fan know she did not appreciate his comments.
At a Pure Wrestling Association event in Ontario, Canada, Chelsea Green (formerly known as Laurel Van Ness) had a confrontation with a fan from the audience. A video was tweeted by Wade Buswell (@wade029 on Twitter) of Green dropping a drink and visibly arguing with the audience member at the concession stand. According to Buswell, the fan had made derogatory comments to Green and the incident caused him to leave the venue.

Green tweeted about the incident saying the man insulted her with chauvinistic rhetoric.
My job & my character does not give any man an excuse to call me names, or make chauvinistic comments.

(Lol, see what I did there. Now I’ve tweeted it so you HAVE to bring me back)
Other fans on twitter confirmed Buswell's assessment of the comments and the reaction of the fan.
Green wrestles around North America in independent promotions like Major League Wrestling, Shimmer, and Wrestle Circus. She is a former Impact Wrestling Knockout Champion but is no longer with that company.
