Chelsea Green comments on Matt Cardona possibly returning to WWE.
While Chelsea Green has made a successful return to WWE after her release in April 2021, Matt Cardona has continued to boost the independent scene by making the towns. Cardona's name is consistently mentioned as one to potentially return to WWE, and Cardona has teased his return multiple times since he was released by the company in April 2020.
Appearing on Goat Radio, Chelsea Green was asked if her husband may return to WWE.
"Maybe. Fingers crossed, maybe. I really really hope so. I would love nothing more than to have a mixed tag match with my husband at WrestleMania," she said.
As of now, it remains to be seen if Cardona will return to WWE.
Green has found her tag team partner in Piper Niven. The two are former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. The duo won the Fightful award for Women's Tag Team of the Year.
