Chris Harris Discusses How His IMPACT Return Came Together, Possible Reunion With James Storm

James Storm competed in his 1000th IMPACT match on the March 31 episode of the program. Ahead of his return, he was greeted by his former tag team partner Chris Harris.

Harris and Storm (America's Most Wanted) are one of the most decorated tag teams in TNA/IMPACT history, winning the NWA Tag Team Titles seven times as a team. They last teamed in 2006 when they lost to The Latin American Exchange (Hernandez & Homicide).

Speaking to Rewind Recap Relive, Harris discussed how his appearance came together.

"I wasn't expecting that. Storm and I have always kept in touch and I keep in touch with a lot of guys in IMPACT because I want that promotion to explode again. I would love to see great things happen for them. Storm said someone got ahold of him and they counted the matches and they decided to put it in the story. I got a call from Scott D'Amore and he said, 'we're putting this together and we'd like to bring you in.' I thought it was awesome. People have been talking about an AMW reunion for years. It wasn't a tag match, people got to see us face-to-face and I think we got more attention for that than the actual match. It was cool to be on IMPACT and I got some great feedback," he said.

Harris continued, discussing a possible reunion with Storm by saying, "As far as where we go from here, who knows. If there was a reunion, I don't know if I can hang with Storm in the ring anymore, but if I can be in his corner, I'd love to see it, and judging from social media, they'd love to see it too. Maybe we can make something work."

Harris has yet to return to IMPACT following his cameo appearance for Storm's 1000th match.

Storm was victorious in his 1000th bout, defeating Eric Young.
