Chris Jericho is asked about the internal reaction to CM Punk joining WWE.
The wrestling world was shocked at WWE Survivor Series when CM Punk returned to the company nearly a decade after walking out. Punk was fired by AEW in September due to his actions in a backstage incident with Jack Perry at AEW All In.
Speaking on WFAA, Chris Jericho was asked about the backstage reaction at AEW to Punk returning to WWE.
"It's business as usual. It happens. It's the same reason why I'm sure there wasn't a big reaction when Adam Copeland came to AEW or when Will Ospreay signed with AEW or when Danielson, Moxley, and Adam Cole came to AEW. It's good for the business that guys have the ability to go between companies. It's great for the fans and it's great for the talent overall. It just makes the business stronger and that's the most important thing," said Jericho.
Jericho previously said that Punk returning to WWE didn't surprise him. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
