Chris Jericho has named the date for his match against Mistico.
Chris Jericho attacked Mistico at the CMLL event on June 28 and targeted him in a backstage promo, setting the stage for a match between the two.
On the July 10 edition of CMLL Informa, Chris Jericho sent a message to Mistico and confirmed that their match would be at CMLL's 91st Anniversary show on Friday, September 13. Jericho said that he had to prove that he was better than Mistico and that Mistico was not on his level. He called the bout one of the biggest matches in the history of Mexico.
The match will mark Jericho's first time competing in Arena Mexico since 1995.
