Chris Sabin isn't interested in utilizing Option C to get a World Championship match against his tag team partner Alex Shelley.
In the past, Chris Sabin has utilized Option C, that being the right to trade in the TNA X-Division Title for a match against the TNA World Champion, to capture his one and only TNA World Championship, over Bully Ray in 2013.
Ten years later, Sabin is again the X-Division Champion. Now, his tag team partner Alex Shelley is the World Champion and he has no desire to take that title away from his friend.
"I'm 1,000% happy being the X Division champion. For a long time, I thought Alex Shelley deserved to be a World Champion in some sort of major promotion and I'm happy to see him finally accomplish that. He's having a good run and I want him to continue that. He's not just my partner, he's one of my best friends. So I want him to succeed and there's no reason for me to go after him. I'm happy being the X-Division Champion. I want him to enjoy his run on top," Sabin said on the Battleground podcast.
Elsewhere in this interview, Sabin spoke about a potential return to the hexagonal ring that TNA Wrestling was known for in the 2000s. Read more here.
Sabin also spoke about wanting to make the X-Division Title the signature belt of TNA Wrestling once again.
