Don't call it a comeback. Christian Cage is here to stay.
After seven years away from the ring, Christian Cage returned in his first singles match since 2014 and successfully defeated Frankie Kazarian, his old rival from TNA Wrestling.
Of course, Christian Cage made his overall comeback in a WWE ring back in January at the Royal Rumble. Watching along his childhood friend, Edge, went the distance from number 1 to number 30 and punched his ticket to WrestleMania.
For Christian, he had other goals. Christian showed up in AEW at Revolution on March 7 with one goal in mind: to be the best worker in AEW. Christian took one step closer to achieving that goal after scoring his first victory since 2014 in a very competitive match against Frankie Kazarian.

In recent weeks, Christian has also stated that he is only interested in one spot in the company, the top spot. Christian had told Kenny Omega weeks ago that he felt Omega was on borrowed time as a World Champion.
Edge recently spoke about Christian making the decision to jump to AEW amid his own Road to WrestleMania. You can read Edge’s remarks here.
