Christopher Daniels Appears On 9/23 IMPACT Wrestling; Saves Christian Cage And Josh Alexander

The Fallen Angel has risen.

On the September 23 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Josh Alexander defeated Ace Austin in the main event. Following their match, Austin and Madman Fulton attacked the #1 Contender to the IMPACT World Title. Christian Cage came out to save The Walking Weapon, but couldn't fend off both men.

With Cage down in the corner and Alexander moments away from being hit with a devastating maneuver, Christopher Daniels' music hit. The Fallen Angel made his way to the ring and proceeded to toss Ace over the top rope and nearly hit Angel's Wings on Fulton before he was rescued.

Daniels was a fixture in IMPACT (then TNA) from 2002-2010 and then again from 2011-2014. He is a 4-time X Division Champion and 2-time Tag Team Champion alongside Frankie Kazarian.

Now a member of the AEW roster, Daniels hasn't competed since the May 12, 2021 episode of Dynamite where he and Kazarian lost to The Young Bucks in a Tag Team Title Match that stipulated SCU disband if not victorious.

He posted the following to his Twitter page just days ago signalling towards a potential return:
