Oh, hell no.
Stone Cold Steve Austin has called his walkout of WWE in 2002 one of the biggest regrets of his career. Austin left WWE on June 10, 2002 after finding out that he was poised to lose to Brock Lesnar in a King of the Ring qualifying match. While Austin maintains that he didn't mind the idea of losing to Brock Lesnar, he was against the idea of the match even taking place without proper buildup. That situation, and a slew of other creative missteps, caused Austin to walk out of WWE. In doing so, Austin says he lost a potential beer deal.
That's what 'The Rattlesnake' told Pat McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show recently, when asked about whether he ever had a beer deal.
"Way back in the day, I was running hot as Stone Cold, we were doing some beer testing with a place in northern New York. We were about to come out with Stone Cold beer. We came up with a bad booking decision, me and Brock on Monday Night Raw, and I said, ‘F this.’ That blew the beer deal up," Austin said.
Austin's very own Steveweiser was not in the cards, so it seems, though he would return to WWE in February of 2003.
Austin appeared at WrestleMania 41 and inadvertantly crashed his ATV into the barricade. Fans can read more about that situation here.
