CJ Perry provides the latest update on her health.
CJ Perry previously went to the hospital in December due to an infection, which stemmed from a splinter. She had to get surgery, but she was sent home. Perry later said she had to go back to the hospital due to complications with her recovery, and she revealed that MRSA was being drained from her finger every day. On January 12, CJ Perry said her surgeon told her she would need a second surgery if she did not start to see more blood in her infected finger.
CJ Perry took to Twitter/X on January 14 and provided fans with an update. She thanked everyone for their support and stated that she had a relapse with a MRSA infection because the antibiotics stopped working. Perry said she had to be rushed to the hospital, and the surgeon dug scabs and flesh and pus and skin out of her finger. She noted that the surgeon put an IV in her hand, which led to a stinging sensation before her arm went numb.
Perry then said that the surgeon dug more, and the surgeon started to see more blood, which meant they were heading in the right direction. She said that she would have to clean out the dressing and redress the wound. Perry states that she was going back to the surgeon almost every day so they could evaluate the wound, and she was taking the antibiotics. She expressed her gratitude for the antibiotics and again thanked everyone for their support.
