CM Punk got his revenge.
CM Punk was victorious over MJF at AEW Revolution, besting him in a bloody dog collar match. The finish saw MJF call for Wardlow, who came out to seemingly assist his boss with the diamond ring, only he couldn't find it. With MJF's attention tied up, Punk pulled MJF in a Go To Sleep with MJF falling into a pile of tacks.
Wardlow then found the Dynamite Diamond Ring, putting it on the apron and giving a nod to Punk. Punk hit MJF with the ring and pinned MJF.
Before the bout, Punk called back to his ROH days before the collars were even put on, coming out "Miseria Cantare" by AFI and wearing gym shorts and a windbreaker as part of his attire.
