CM Punk doesn't recognize Rocky Balboa.
CM Punk was on the call during CFFC 137 when the Rocky Balboa statue in Philadelphia was shown.
Punk immediately said, "Who's that?" His fellow broadcasters tried to explain the Rocky movies and joked that surely everybody has seen them, and Punk said, "Huh, I'll put them on the list."
This joke extends back to Punk's time in AEW. In 2022, when explaining some of his grievances with the promotion at the time, Punk mentioned on his Instagram story that Jon Moxley wanted to act out a storyline similar to that of Rocky II. Punk admitted that he had never seen any of the Rocky movies.
