CM Punk and Seth Rollins are set to collide in the main event of WWE Raw on Netflix Premiere in a match that has been building for over a decade, ever since Punk left WWE in 2014.
Rollins has criticized Punk for walking out on the company and then trying to tear it down, while Punk has criticized Rollins for not having his back and bootlicking.
Speaking to Shannon Sharpe and Ochocinco on Night Cap, Punk was asked if he would be moving on from Rollins after they clash.
"I would love to say that I'm moving on to bigger and better things. I would love to be wrong about that, too. This is one of those (Hulk ) Hogan-(Randy) Savage deals that is going to go on for as long as the beef has already been festering. Ten-plus years, we're talking a decade here. I don't think, even as big of a night, debuting on Netflix, and no matter how bright the lights are, this one is going to fester for a while," said Punk.
Hogan and Savage were friends and enemies for decades across WWE and WCW.
Fightful will have coverage of WWE on Raw Netflix premiere beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Monday.
