If this remains Punk's return to the ring, it will mark his first time wrestling for WWE since the 2014 Royal Rumble. He has not had a singles match in a WWE ring since the January 20, 2014 episode of WWE Raw. There, he defeated Billy Gunn. Overall, Punk last wrestled at AEW All In on August 27, where he beat Samoa Joe.
Fightful will monitor the situation and provide more information as it becomes available.
Booker T recently discussed speaking with CM Punk backstage at NXT Deadline. Check out his comments here.
