CM Punk comments on how he's feeling.
CM Punk is set to return to the ring at WWE SummerSlam when he takes on Drew McIntyre with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee. Punk has been sidelined since WWE Royal Rumble when he suffered a torn triceps after taking a future shock DDT from McIntyre.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture at San Diego ComicCon, Punk was asked how he's feeling mentally and physically.
"Mentally, strong. Physically, 100%. Or at least as 100% as I get in the current stage of my career. I feel good. I'm anxious and I'm ready to lace up my boots," he said.
Punk has wrestled only three matches since returning to WWE at Survivor Series 2023, with two taking place at WWE live events against Dominik Mysterio.
WWE SummerSlam will mark his first televised singles match in WWE in over a decade.
