CM Punk says the best in the world is back in WWE.
CM Punk appeared on WWE Raw for the first time since 2014 on the November 27, 2023, episode of the show. He made his shocking return to the company at WWE Survivor Series on November 25. Punk came to the ring to address his return on Monday, and he stated that it looked like hell had frozen over. The former WWE Champion explained that he was feeling more like himself, and Survivor Series was a career highlight.
Punk said that he has changed, and as long as you speak from the heart, you can't go wrong. He emphasized that in returning to WWE, he came home. CM Punk noted that the fans never forgot about him, and that's why he came back, as he loves them. Punk noted that he once had to leave, as a wise man told him he would have to do that to get everything he needed out of WWE. He made it clear that he came back to do that. Punk said that everything he has always wanted has been in WWE, and it's where he belongs.

Punk referenced his wife, AJ Mendez (formerly known as AJ Lee) and said she sends her regards. He also said that almost everyone has welcomed him back, as some people are afraid. He stated that he knows some people are afraid that he set the bar too high, or because he has the brass ring in his pocket. He noted that they might be afraid because the most dangerous man in the business walked through the door, and they could not do anything about it.

Punk closed his message by saying that some people are afraid that they will have to face the fact that their effort to be the best in the world is a lie, as the best in the world is back. He also said that he was not there to make friends; instead, he came back to make money.
