CM Punk Shares His Thoughts On Potentially Facing Jeff Hardy Again

CM Punk shares his thoughts on potentially facing Jeff Hardy again.

In recent years, Jeff Hardy has expressed his interest in working with CM Punk. The duo previously had a memorable feud in 2009, and the rivalry culminated in a Loser Leaves WWE Steel Cage match on the August 28th, 2009 episode of WWE SmackDown. Years later, Punk is back in WWE, and while Hardy is signed to TNA, the partnership between the two companies has led to crossovers. Jeff and Matt Jardy have already crossed over to NXT once, and they will compete at NXT Roadblock.

Speaking with Alex McCarthy for Mail Sport, CM Punk was asked about Jeff Hardy's comment that he wanted to retire him.

"He said he wants to retire me? I'd like to be able to fly, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. I think there's got to be a lot of bridges crossed. I don't know how many years I have left. I'm all for giving people second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth chances. There are a lot of experiences I didn't enjoy so much, we don't have to get into it, but I just root for people to be free of whatever demons possess them. If he's coming back here, great, let's see what happens," Punk said.

Hardy recently said that he would love to revisit his feud with CM Punk. Check out his comments here.
