CM Punk: Triple H Is A Great Coach And He's Assembled One Hell Of A Team

CM Punk comments on working with Triple H.

Triple H has received praise from those who work at WWE and outside of the company for the work he's done as the Chief Content Officer. CM Punk has a long history with Triple H dating back to their time as on-screen rivals that bled into real life, but the two squashed things as Punk made his return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023.

Speaking on the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff show, Punk was asked what it's like working for Triple H.

"It's really interesting. This place, everyone asks me, 'how is it? Is it different than when you were here ten years ago?' Everything I see, it's shockingly different. Having a private conversation with Big E, if you mind giving insight. I often think now when I'm here backstage and I'm having fun, and I'm having a ball. I think to myself, 'Did I waste time? Should I have come back sooner? Should I not have left?' He looked right at me and said, 'No, brother, you had to leave.' He's a great coach and he's assembled one hell of a team," said Punk.

Big E and Pat McAfee both credited Triple H for presenting and allowing new ideas.

Punk is currently sidelined with a torn triceps. He will be on commentary for Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins at night two.
