Punk started off the promo by noting he came real close to winning the Royal Rumble before also congratulating Cody Rhodes for winning the bout. Punk went on to say that he feels a bit unlucky before confirming that he tore his right tricep muscle during the Men's Royal Rumble bout.

Punk went on to say that it feels like he's never going to have the opportunity to main event WrestleMania, noting that it isn't even a real problem before telling a emotional story about one of his best friends that is currently battling cancer.

Punk finished off his promo by saying that there is always next year, noting that he'll be around until the wheels fall off.

Drew McIntyre came out to interrupt Punk and said that he prayed for the 'Best In The World' to get injured. McIntyre also said that he's going to find a way into a world title match at WrestleMania, where he'll live out Punk's dreams once again.

Punk responded by saying that his heart hurts more than his tricep does before stating that he will target McIntyre when he makes his return from injury.

McIntyre and Punk then brawled for a brief moment before Sami Zayn made the save and chased McIntyre out of the ring.

Fightful will update fans when more information is known about Punk and the timestable for his return from injury.
