CMLL Announces Date For CMLL Homenaje A Dos Leyendas 2025

CMLL's first big national event of the year has been announced.

On CMLL Informa, Julio César Rivera & Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre announced the 2025 edition of "Homenaje a Dos Leyendas". The show will air from the mythical Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico on Friday, March 21, 2025.

This will be CMLL's first special event on Mexican Soil. Ticket information will be made available on future dates. Before the event and alongside a series of live shows, CMLL will head to Japan as part of the "Fantasticamania" tour with New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Místico, Volador Jr., Atlantis Jr., Titán, Máscara Dorada, Templario, Bárbaro Cavernario, Último Guerrero, Averno, Hechicero, Raider, Okumura, La Fuerza Poblana (Stigma & Xelhua), Los Viajeros del Espacio (Neón & Max Star), Zandokan Jr., and Los Depredadores (Volador Jr., Magnus & Rugido) are set to participate in the tour, with others to be announced.

CMLL hosts this show to honor Salvador Lutheroth Gonzalez and another iconic figure of CMLL and Mexico's wrestling history. The second legend being honored has not been announced, but Rivera did announce that CMLL will host the finals of the CMLL Women's World Tag Team Title Tourney (more information here). CMLL will continue hosting shows in Arena Puebla, Arena Mexico, Arena Coliseo Guadalajara & Arena Coliseo Peru 77 leading up to the event.
