Cody Rhodes becomes the first-ever WWE Crown Jewel Champion.
In the main event of WWE Crown Jewel, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes defeated WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
The finisher saw Cody go for a Cody Cutter, but Gunther capture him in a sleeper. Cody used his weight to roll through, pinning the shoulders of Gunther to win.

The WWE Crown Jewel Championship was introduced at WWE Bad Blood and pits the WWE World Champion against the Undisputed WWE Champion. The title vs. title bout will be held annually at WWE Crown Jewel with the winner receiving a "massive ring" to signify their accomplishment.
