Cody Rhodes Calls Rosario Dawson 'A True Wrestler,' Would Welcome Her Back To AEW

Cody Rhodes has high praise for Rosario Dawson.

Cody and Rosario brought their "Go Big Show" friendship to AEW on the September 15 episode of Dynamite as Dawson confronted Malakai Black, leading to Cody's return.

Speaking to Robbie Fox on My Mom's Basement, Cody discussed Rosario's involvement and explained why she's a true wrestling.

"Kudos to Rosario. I would say some wrestlers in our wrestling circle are less wrestler than Rosario. She landed at JFK, got in her own car, drove all the way to the Prudential Center, found her own way, threw her Nightmare Family jacket on and went out and did the segment. She busted her lip in the segment. We have one of the most A-List, hottest, highest priority human beings in the building and she's just out there swinging around on Tom's [Malakai Black's] back, busting her lip, true wrestler. I would have her back for anything and everything," he said.

Without Rosario watching his back, Cody was defeated by Malakai at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam. Cody is set to team with Lee Johnson on Wednesday's Dynamite against Dante Martin & Matt Sydal.

Elsewhere during the interview, Cody explained that he is not paying tribute to Homelander with his gear. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
