Joey Ryan strikes out.
Injuries didn't get Joey Ryan and Cody Rhodes down during the recent World Series Wrestling tour in Australia. Ryan is currently sidelined with a torn pectoral muscle while Cody is nursing a meniscus tear. Despite their respective injuries, both men entertained the crowd at WSW over the weekend. After failing to defeat Cody Rhodes in a staring contest and then a rock, paper, scissors bout, Ryan challenged Cody for a third time on Nov. 26. This time, the two did battle in a thumb war for the IWGP US Title.
