In a wild main event, Reigns and Rhodes battled it out. Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa all interfered, and they were not alone. John Cena made his return as he took the fight to Sikoa by sending him through a broadcast table. Cena also hit Reigns with an Attitude Adjustment. The Rock came out and stared Cena down. He then planted Cena with a Rock Bottom.

The Shield's entrance music hit, and Seth Rollins ran out, but Roman Reigns took him out. The lights went out, and The Undertaker appeared. He chokeslammed The Rock.

With the playing field leveled, Rhodes hit three Cross Rhodes to clinch the win.

After the match, Rhodes celebrated with his family and members of the locker room, including Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn. Cena and CM Punk joined in the celebration as well. Cody presented the title to his mom, who was in the front row for the match. He called out Triple H and Bruce Prichard as he noted that his return would not have been possible without them. They celebrated with Cody, who also spoke with the commentary team and shook hands with them.

Reigns beat “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman to win Universal Championship at WWE Payback 2020. He then defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 39.
