Cody Rhodes tops the 2024 PWI 500.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated revealed that Cody Rhodes has topped its annual PWI 500 list in 2024. Seth Rollins ranked first in 2023. This marks Rhodes' first time at number one.
The evaluation period for this year's PWI 500 is August 1, 2023 - July 31, 2024. The criteria for ranking includes win-loss record, technical ability, influence on the sport, success against the highest grade of competition, success against the most diverse competition, and activity.
During the evaluation period, Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship with Jey Uso, and he won the Men's Royal Rumble match. He beat Roman Reigns to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE WrestleMania XL. Rhodes has picked up wins against Reigns, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, and Logan Paul, among others, during the evaluation period.
