Cody Rhodes will compete on the March 13 episode of WWE Raw,
Rhodes got into an exchange with LA Knight on Twitter after the SmackDown star stated that he's done waiting for an opportunity to compete at WrestleMania. Rhodes responded by saying that he didn't want to be out of practice for his own WrestleMania match, so he invited Knight to face him on Raw. Knight seemingly accepted the challenge by telling Rhodes he'd be there, and he told "The American Nightmare" to buckle up.

In a tweet ahead of the show, WWE confirmed that Cody Rhodes will face LA Knight in a first-time-ever match.Byron Saxton delivered the news, but he was interrupted twice by Chelsea Green, who insulted WWE official Adam Pearce. Saxton noted that the match was official, and he said "LA" before Green spoke over him. WWE later confirmed the match.
Saxton also announced that Kevin Owens will face Solo Sikoa in a Street Fight.
