Cody Rhodes and Shinsuke Nakamura will clash on WWE Raw, and CM Punk will appear on the show.
As confirmed on the December 4 episode, Cody Rhodes will face Shinsuke Nakamura in a singles match. Rhodes has been revealed as the individual Nakamura had been targeting in recent weeks. After Nakamura spit poison mist in Rhodes' face on November 27, Cody called Nakamura out on December 4. Nakamura appeared on the video screen and described how he and Cody had followed similar paths. He then vowed to finish Rhodes' story.

Additionally, WWE announced that CM Punk will appear on the show. During the December 4 episode, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced that he invited Punk to the show, and he hopes to sign him to an exclusive contract. The December 11 episode of WWE Raw will be held at Rocket Mortage FieldHouse in Cleveland, the same arena that Punk was set to appear at in January 2014 before he walked out in 2014.
